Baby Carlos Lee has been brought into the safety and warmth of the local orphanage. Poor Carlos was found left abandoned with his mother who tragically died. Although this story is incredibly upsetting, Carlos now has a bright and healthy future ahead of him with the orphanage.
The Congo project now has three social entrepreneurship programmes underway.
- maize farming (photo above), 6 hectares, bean farming and potato farming.
- Sewing Workshop for childrens clothes and educational uniforms.
- A chicken farm for nutrition for the community.
The Community canteen is under construction to provide nutritious food and a comfortable eating area for the children.
