5 things you MUST do TODAY to get fit and lose weight.
1. Ditch the frappuccino which has 400 calories per 16 oz cup, and grab the bottle of water, a 0 calorie drink ! You will not only save calories and lose weight but also save $$$. I recommend for all my clients to have 2 cups of water before each meal it fills you up and helps with metabolism and weight loss.
2. Eat “volumizing” foods, water-rich foods like brothy soups, fruits and vegetables, whole grains, low-fat dairy, lean meat, and fish—not only help control hunger by filling you up, but they also do it on fewer calories.
3. Walk 10,000 steps a day! 10,000 steps, could very likely get you to the 60 minutes of daily exercise that has proven so successful for significant, long-lasting weight loss.
4. Meatless Monday’s, I recommend for my clients to have, at least, one meatless meal a week. Because going meatless once a week may reduce your risk of chronic preventable conditions like cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and obesity.
5. Journaling your food, keeping a food diary can benefit you in many ways because tracking what you eat and drink can keep you focused on your diet, provide motivation, increase your efficacy, and help you attain and maintain your goals.
